The Charles Hotel Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara-on-the-Lake

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were quite spacious, but unfortunately, there was a noticeable musty odor that was off-putting, especially in the mornings. On the bright side, the room had a cozy fireplace and luxurious bedding that added a touch of comfort.

The Poppy Room had a huge fireplace and an attached large veranda, providing a cozy atmosphere. However, the room was very small for the value, offering limited seating, with a dirty carpet and a non-functional bedside lamp.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of delights and letdowns. The rooms were extremely small but cozy, featuring a grand gas fireplace, a wide-screen TV above, and a Juliet balcony with a view of the golf course and shoreline, making the space ideal for relaxation.

The service was superb, with an amazingly comfortable King size bed, lovely sitting area, modern bathroom, and delightful dining options. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the town center and within walking distance of all the activity on Queen Street. The dining experience was exceptional, offering special dishes and fresh coffee. The facilities provided a great experience overall.
